As is written at Ubuntu forums, edit the xorg.conf and adjust the Firefox settings.
This worked for me with USB cabled Apple Mighty Mouse.
Anyway the ticket for autoconfig in the Ubuntu's Launchpad has been confirmed, so I believe it will be fixed one day.
I also wanted to customize the settings in the Compiz manager so for anyone else on the picture are the corresponding Buttons.
I found them using xev started within Terminal.
Btw. when playing with the Mouse I realized quite nice projection :)

I wish, but the Blogger does not publish filtered feeds by tag. If anyone knows how to make it I would be glad to set it up.

Why would you even want to use the Migthty Mouse? I tend to use HID-devices which aren't paralized and can be used fully. Not only way Apple have thougt user could want to use. ie. 2 buttons simultaneously. Maybe next you'll do xorg-fix to every mouse to prevent proper use?
Why I have Mighty Mouse? Because it has the trackball for scrolling (or whatever it is called, so I can scroll to sides. I am missing this on other mouses!
Of course I was not in the habit of rising pointing finger in order to make right click. But that can be learned quickly.
And yes, you are right - Mighty Mouse does not allow to do the left and right click simultaneously.
Anyway I do not understand how the mentioned fix could somehow prevent proper use.
